November's Pet of the Month is scheduled to be the Walrus;

"...to celebrate, Ganz is holding a contest. From October 1 to October 31, Ganz will be asking players what they think are the coolest things about Webkinz World. Each player who submits a form with ten things will be entered into a random drawing to win an adoption code for a Webkinz Walrus. Please see the Webkinz Newz contest page for complete details."
There are several new Webkinz out including the two new Signature Webkinz, a pretty Calico Cat and the Green Earth Puppy, a celebratory Webkinz paying tribute to Earth Day.

July Pet of the Month
This month the beautiful Bengal Tiger is the pet of the month. He comes with a tag including tons of special online activities that can be played all month long!
In real life, these guys leave their mothers when they’re only 18 months old and they learn to fiercely protect their territory. Wild Bengal Tigers are the biggest of all tiger’s and mainly live in India and Nepal. There are only about 2,000 left on the planet today. While lions live in prides (as families), Bengal tigers live on their own outside of family units.
