Ty Li'l Ones; Collect Them All!

These popular miniature dolls are the little sisters of soft-bodied Ty Girlz. There are eight distinct Ty Li'l Ones to choose from, each with their own unique look and style. They're small enough to fit in a lunch box, purse or book bag, and also make for great play in a larger doll house. Fresh and wholesome, these little collectibles have soft, brushable hair, moveable legs and arms, and come with a cute little pup of their own.

The Curious Tale of Kitty White

Born in Japan in 1974, Hello Kitty is the product of the imagination of Ikuko Shimizu, a young designer asked to add to the ever-growing collection of characters created for the company Sanrio.
Originally, Hello Kitty was designed to adorn a small coin purse designed by the company.
The specific cartoon character had to appeal to the “preteen girl in everyone.” That was the requirement.

Over the years Hello Kitty has become a phenomenon, and one that has spread around the world. Hello Kitty was born standing 5 apples high, weighing the same as 3 apples, and attending third grade. This year Hello Kitty, who’s true name is Kitty White, will turn 37 years old but will be forever immortalized as a fun-loving kitten who, surprisingly, lives in the suburbs of London, England with her family (in her own pretend world).

If you’re a Hello Kitty fan, come and visit us at Turtle Pond Toys and browse through a large selection of Hello Kitty collectibles. From writing supplies to lipgloss to lunch bags and plush, we have a great variety to choose from.

TY  Favourites

Our plush TY line always seems to be a hit with kids, espcially the licensed plush! Since the Alvin & The Chipmunk films came out, our TY Alvin, Simon, Theodore, and Britney ( a particular favourite with Chipmunk fans) have been really popular. Other popular licensed plush from TY includes The Backyardigans, Blues Clues, Scooby Do, and Max & Ruby. There is a host of other non-licensed plush to choose from too, like soft and cuddly TY Pluffies. They make a great and affordable gift for babies and little ones alike.

We can't hold on to our Beanie Boos very long at all. With an excellent price point and unique design, these little guys are one of our most popular plush lines. Beanie Boos are now available in large sizes too, which are about twice the size of the originals.

New TY Hello Kitty!!

We're all pretty taken with the new Ty Hello Kitty. We've seen a lot of different Hello Kitty products over the years but the Ty plush is a real winner! There are two styles of the larger Hello Kitty plush, and three styles of Hello Kitty keychains to choose from.
