Often customers come in looking specifically for Ravensburger puzzles. Yes, there is a big difference between say, the $4.99 licenced puzzles we sell and the $10.00 plus Ravensburger, GALT, Infantino and Djeco puzzles. Here's what Ravensburger says about their puzzles:

The tools we use to die-cut our puzzles are handmade so that each puzzle piece has its own and unique shape. We replace these tools after about every 60,000 puzzles we manufacture to ensure a perfect cut of our puzzle pieces.
All our puzzles are made from the highest quality cardboard which ensures that:
- puzzle pieces don’t bend easily
- very little dust in our packaging (no mess on your dining table)
- image and cardboard backing don’t delaminate
- the completed puzzle is totally flat and does not warp
