Mindware brainy books
Mindware books get those brain cells working! We brought in this line earlier this year and it has been very successful. There are several series of books, each with versions for younger children through preteen, and up to adult. Teachers have commented that they like the fact that the books are reproducible.
Here are some of the series of books available at Turtle Pond:
- Analogy Challenges
- Perplexors: solve logic puzzles by the process of elimination
- Word Winks: those visual word play puzzles where where a common phrase or expression is represented by illustrated words. I remember these being popular when I was in high school and university
- Venn Perplexors: fun story puzzles get kids familiar with solving puzzles using Venn diagrams
- Logic Links: 48 colour chips are included which are used to solve puzzles, employing deductive reasoning and sequencing skills
- Code Breakers: a must for any aspiring spy, in these books you need to crack the code to solve the puzzle
